    Mechanism
    One of the most striking signs of aging is the increase in facial wrinkles.     Acetyl hexapeptide-8 mimics the nitrogen terminal of SNAP-25 protein, which can compete for the position of SNAP-25 in the SNARE complex and make it unable to form. If the SNARE complex loses its stability slightly, the vesicles cannot effectively release neurotransmitters, and the muscles cannot contract accordingly, thus preventing wrinkles from forming.
